love Caylus, but not the app

I bought this game because I own and like the boardgame and wanted a version to play offline while traveling. I have not evaluated the online play. So far, this app is more aggravating than fun.

1) No pass-and-play.
2) AI is not competitive. Also, only two bots are available from each skill level, so to play a 4- or 5-player game, you need to include bots from not the top level.
3) The onscreen text shown in screenshots, (e.g. "Place worker for 1(coin)") doesnt actually exist in the app. Its incredibly frustrating sometimes figuring out what the app is waiting for you to do.
4) No Undo. See #3. Without the text prompts, youre likely to click the wrong thing once or twice per game. Oh well. The good news is, see #1, youll probably beat the AI even with occasional misunderstandings.
5) Cant change the game play speed.
6) Board sacrifices clarity for prettiness. Hard to immediately see things like the location of the provost or whether players have passed. Some people will prefer the prettiness, I guess.
